Following Jesus…

How fun it is to watch God put this backyard hot tub to so much use! :)  This past month, we got to celebrate another baptism with Nzayisenga Daniel on February 18th! We have only had the privilege of knowing  Daniel and his family for a few short months, after they moved to Lexington from Rwanda in the fall.  However, his love for Jesus has been evident in all he does.  He is not only a leader in his family but with our IH kids as well - praying over them at the playground and initiating pick up soccer games in our backyard! On Sunday when we were gathered at the park (in the beautiful 68 degrees!!), Daniel described following Jesus as "obeying the commandments God has given us in the Bible." Following Jesus = obedience. We are so proud of him and his obedient decision to follow Jesus through the waters of baptism!

"Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be.  My Father will honor the one who serves me." John 12:26

What an amazing and unexpected journey this has been! We cannot tell you how much we appreciate all of your prayers, encouragement and support.  It is a gift to journey with you! 

Let us never stop illuminating the hope of JESUS!
